Forward-deployed: analysis to implementation
Connect your systems. Give your team the right tool.
When one task requires several spreadsheets and screens, the problem is often the workflow between systems. We build focused tools around that task and the data you already have.
We start with your current process, systems and constraints. The scope is agreed after analysis.
Illustration of the proposed workflow.
When this is worth looking at
Spreadsheet bridges
People export, copy and reconcile data just to move a task between systems.
Too many screens
The information needed for one decision is scattered across several tools.
Fragile workarounds
A key process depends on a file, macro or colleague’s personal routine.
How the workflow changes
Observe the work
Follow the task with the people doing it and map the systems involved.
Define the working screen
Agree the information, actions and controls the task actually needs.
Connect and test
Build permitted data connections and test with representative scenarios.
Roll out with the team
Train users on real tasks and keep a safe fallback during adoption.
What we implement
- A focused interface for the agreed operational task.
- Data connections, validation and status handling.
- Access controls and a record of relevant actions.
- Documentation, user training and an agreed support scope.
What stays under your control
- Your systems remain the agreed sources of record.
- Read and write access is scoped to the task.
- Important actions use explicit checks rather than unchecked AI output.
Illustrative workflow, not a client case study
One working screen for a vehicle handover
A rental coordinator checks reservations, availability and a handover checklist in separate tools. A proposed internal screen brings the permitted data together, highlights missing items and records the handover status in the relevant system. AI is added only where it solves a specific problem.
Useful automation, sustainable running costs
We compare a focused integration with the cost of buying or replacing an entire platform. Deterministic application logic handles routine actions; AI is reserved for suitable text or document tasks. Maintenance, hosting and external service usage are discussed before build.
Questions before you start
Does this mean replacing our ERP or CRM?
Usually the first question is how to improve work around the systems you already have. Replacement is considered only if the existing limitations make the agreed workflow impractical.
What if our software has no API?
We investigate supported exports, imports and other permitted interfaces. An unavailable interface may limit the scope; we explain that before promising an integration.
How do we avoid another unused tool?
We design with the people doing the work, test representative tasks and include training in the rollout. A tool should remove steps, not add a parallel process.
Which task needs too many screens today?
Tell us what your team is trying to do, which systems are involved and where spreadsheets fill the gaps. We’ll examine a focused alternative.
